Two major book stores are Stockmann’s Academic book store (next to the Stockmann department store)  and Suomalainen kirjakauppa (opposite to the railway station).They have a large selection of English books in all categories.

For cheaper books, go to Kirjatori (the Main Railway Station tunnels). There are lots of small second hand book stores selling used books. Here you can find rare books and some real bargains.

For some nice childrens books, visit WSOY (Finnish book publisher) store in Sanomatalo. Here you can find Disney -books, Winnie the Pooh and of course Moomin -books. They also have books for young people and adults.
