Christmas has started in Helsinki!

Christmas Street in Helsinki

Christmas has officially started in Helsinki now that Jussi Pajunen, the mayor of Helsinki turned the traditional Christmas lights on in aleksanterinkatu today. The old lights are replaced with low energy consumption leds this year to save energy and environment. The 6500 leds are turned on today and will be on until Epiphany (6th of January).
